With more than 30 years’ of experience in all aspects of interior design and construction application, Mrs. Brown has designed in many diverse fields including commercial, residential, educational, retail, healthcare, institutional and industrial.
Her extensive portfolio includes new construction, additions, renovations, and adaptive reuse, as well as build-to-suit projects. Mrs. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and is a Registered Interior Designer (ID #4055) in the State of Florida and National Council for Interior Design Qualified (NCIDQ).
Her specialties include interior design, space planning, custom millwork and fixture specification, as well as furniture selection and procurement.
She has extensive project management bidding/cost analysis/value engineering and construction administration experience.
LEED AP, CAPS
Mike serves as the Director of Operations for Micamy Design Studio. His career has spanned over 30 years with experience in commercial/office, retail, hospitality, multi-family residential and mixed-use projects.
While serving with internationally acclaimed firms as a Partner and Studio Principal, Mike has cross-training in a variety of professional applications including Land Planning, Real Estate Development and Management, Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Graphic Design.
His professional responsibilities include working with clients to develop the project program and then in turn collaborate with the Micamy design team to advance the clients program to a finished product.
Mike attended the University of Florida and maintains active membership in NAHB, NAIOP and ICSC.

Sue Kohler Brown
Sue Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Environments from Colorado State University. She is NCIDQ qualified and a Florida Registered Interior Designer (ID #578) specializing in Contract Interiors and having over 30 years’ experience in the trade.
Her experience includes co-ownership of an interior construction firm specializing in commercial interior design/construction upfit for office and healthcare environments. This unique experience affords Sue a distinguished set of skills for successful interiors.
Her specialties include interior design, space planning, color and finish selections, custom millwork and fixture specification, as well as furniture selection.
She has extensive project management bidding/cost analysis/value engineering and construction administration experience
Brittany serves as Micamy’s consummate organizational solution to the multiple moving parts the firm demands.
Her responsibilities include all of the administration responsibilities for Micamy including accounts receivable and payable together with the numerous purchasing requirements and delivery logistics required to advance the demands of our merchandising department.
Brittany has an extensive educational background in healthcare with a passion for the arts and dance.
Jade Porter graduated from Florida State in 2015 with a Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, and started with Micamy Design Studio immediately after graduation.
She is an event planner turned marketing enthusiast. Jade handles Micamy’s residential Instagram page as well as Micamy’s blog. When she’s not creating Micamy’s content Jade is handling Micamy’s residential sector of the business: Model Merchandising.
Jade’s passion for Model Merchandising is evident through her attention to detail. Designing an entire home from scratch is no small feat, and Jade loves every step of the design process. Jade adheres to a casual, livable design style that allows her to focus on the details that brings a house to life.
Victoria recently graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science from the Department of Interior Architecture and Design. She is passionate about the ability design has to influence a person’s experience within a space. Victoria is currently pursuing the NCIDQ exam and planning to become a licensed Interior Designer alongside her co-workers.
Her experience includes several internships under high-end residential designers where she learned to practice and utilize skills such as concept development, process diagramming, computer aided renderings and 3D modeling. While she’s not completing construction drawings or out on a site visit she is responsible for Micamy’s commercial Instagram, showcasing our finished projects such as clubhouses, restaurants and doctors offices.
William graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Retail Merchandising and Product Development & a Minor in Business Administration. He is responsible for creating campaigns for each social media platform to increase Micamy’s visibility and engagement online.
When not advancing his creative technical skills you can find him in the warehouse handling the shipping and receiving for our everyday deliveries. He is also responsible for our inventory management of furniture, fixtures, accessories and other products Micamy specifies for job use.
His interest in entrepreneurship keeps him busy with Micamy’s daily operations collaborating closely with Micamy’s experienced team to learn the inside and out of the trade.
