At Micamy Design Studio, our dedicated, climate-controlled warehouse supports the seamless execution of our full-service interior design services. Strategically located in Jacksonville, Florida, our facility is equipped to receive, inspect, and store FF&A (Furniture, Fixtures & Accessories/Artwork) with precision and care.
From model home merchandising to luxury residential and commercial installations, our logistics team ensures every item arrives in perfect condition and on schedule. We personally handle procurement coordination, white-glove receiving, inventory management, and final delivery; so our clients experience the finished vision without the stress of the behind-the-scenes complexity.

OUR PROCESS
PHASES OF DESIGN
RECEIVING
In this phase, the Logistics team receives all finalized purchase orders and delivery information from the FF&A team and begins coordinating directly with shipping companies to schedule and confirm delivery dates. We organize and manage incoming freight to ensure our warehouse is fully prepared and staffed to receive each shipment. By carefully tracking and confirming arrival timelines, we create a streamlined receiving process that sets the project up for a smooth inspection and installation phase.
INSPECTION
Here, the Logistics team conducts a thorough inspection of all received FF&A items using the documentation provided by the FF&A team. Each piece is carefully reviewed for accuracy, quality, and any damage, with findings documented and communicated as needed. We coordinate closely with FF&A to address any issues promptly, ensuring all items meet expectations and are fully approved for installation.
STORAGE
In this phase, the Logistics team oversees the secure storage of all received FF&A items within our climate-controlled warehouse. Each project is organized in designated areas to maintain accuracy and efficiency, with all items carefully inventoried and systematically arranged. We protect every piece by properly covering and safeguarding it to keep products pristine and installation-ready until the scheduled install date.
DELIVERY
Our Logistics team coordinates and executes delivery using our own straight truck to hand-deliver your furniture directly to the project site. We take intentional precautions in loading, securing, and transporting each item to ensure everything arrives safely from point A to point B. To further protect your investment and reduce third-party delivery costs, our Director of Logistics is CDL-certified, allowing us to maintain full control of the delivery process and ensure your furnishings are handled with the highest level of care.
INSTALLATION
In this phase, the Logistics team works hand in hand with the FF&A team to bring the design vision to life. While FF&A directs layout and final placement, our team handles the heavy lifting, assembly, artwork installation, and precise positioning of furniture and accessories. Every piece is installed with both function and beauty in mind, ensuring the finished space reflects the intended design and is picture-perfect for reveal.
