At Micamy Design Studio, our FF&A team brings the finishing touch to every project with care, style, and thoughtful precision. We specialize in selecting and coordinating furniture, fixtures, artwork, and accessories, transforming completed interiors into fully realized, functional, and beautiful spaces.

Our designers focus on all moveable elements that define a space’s personality and performance. From furniture layouts and custom fabric and vinyl selections to curated artwork and accessories, we ensure every choice aligns with the client’s needs, aesthetic vision, and long-term durability. We prepare detailed presentations and itemized proposals, guiding clients through selections and procurement with clarity and confidence.

Throughout the process, our team remains hands-on, providing regular updates, coordinating deliveries, and personally overseeing installation. PHASES OF DESIGN

PROGRAMMING

The team collaborates with the client to understand goals, functional needs, and aesthetic preferences through detailed analysis and discussion. This information forms the foundation for a thoughtful and cohesive design direction.

PROPOSAL

This phase focuses on outlining the full scope of FF&A services for the project, ensuring clarity and agreement between the client and design team. It defines responsibilities, deliverables, and the overall process before moving forward with selections and procurement.

SELECTIONS

During this phase, FF&A choices are finalized through formal meetings with the client, ensuring every furniture, fixture, and accessory selection aligns with their preferences, functional needs, and overall design vision.

PROCUREMENT

In this phase, all approved FF&A items are priced, ordered, and tracked. The FF&A team works hand in hand with our Logistics team, who manages receipt of deliveries and coordinates all installation details, keeping the client informed every step of the way.

INSTALL

During this phase, the FF&A team works closely with the Logistics team to personally install all furnishings, fixtures, and accessories. Together, they ensure every item is placed accurately and the final space reflects the approved design vision.
