Hi friends! We’re back with a quick little reveal of an awesome project we were recently apart of. Newmark Knight Frank is a global commercial real estate company that serves Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. We had the opportunity to design their sales office here in North Florida, so now take a photo tour of their small yet useful and productive office space.
We added this pop of electric blue at the reception and entry to give the space some color and continued hints of blue throughout the office. We selected modern lighting that is both aesthetically pleasing as well as illuminates the space nicely.
For acoustical purposes we wanted to make sure to incorporate carpet in the space that coordinated with the LVT. With the open space plan floating in the middle of the room we decided to inset the carpet in the middle of the room using a metal Schluter piece and are loving how seamless they look together.
We space planned the office to allow for each and every employee to have access to natural light promoting wellness and healthy living in the environment.
The office includes a small kitchenette that doubles as a break room for their employees. As mentioned earlier we included hints of blue throughout the office for visual interest.
Being a global company it was important that the conference room was functional yet sophisticated. Newmark Knight Frank has video conference calls with clients all over the world and it doesn’t hurt to have a bad ass office background while your talking business.
DESIGNER’S FAVORITE DETAIL:
“I am so pleased with the way the lighting turned out in the open area above the systems furniture. It makes an enormous impact on the small space in a way that does not overpower it.”
