KINGSWOOD RESIDENCE REVEAL PT 1

We’re back with a really fun project reveal today! This is our very first historic home remodel and we can’t begin to describe how rewarding this process was. The client brought us in to assist in updating their space and brightening their home while maintaining their historic home’s character and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The before and afters are a true testament to the transformation this home and this family underwent.

We’re revealing the foyer and living room, and there’s a sneak peek at the dining room at the end of this blog post! This is a 4 part series so stay tuned to see the rest of this home.

BEFORE & AFTERS

The foyer received a minor face lift with a fresh coat of paint and new door. The client kept some existing pieces of furniture, like this console in the before photo. We utilized it in the living room and paired it with a black arched mirror.

The living room and fireplace also went through a minor face lift, but the effects were significant! The client chose to add brick and shiplap to the fireplace, which brings so much warmth and texture to the space!

Removing wallpaper and switching out light fixtures can completely change a room! And never underestimate the power of a fresh coat of paint and custom drapery.
